June 2017 – Scott E. Stevens and Thomas W. Reardon, Jr. obtained a 11-1 jury verdict in their clients’ favor in Morris County, Texas in a residential construction defect case.

August 2016 – Scott E. Stevens and Rick Hurlburt obtained a directed verdict in favor of their client during a trial regarding violations of deed restrictions in a development located in Harrison County, Texas. The case was tried in the County Court at Law in Harrison County, Texas. The Court also awarded a permanent junction in favor of our client.

August 13, 2015 – Scott Stevens and Thomas Reardon obtained a unanimous jury verdict in Gregg County, Texas in a breach of contract case.

April 2014 – David Henry won a unanimous jury verdict in a lease dispute in Harrison County, Texas.

December 2012 – David Henry and Scott Stevens litigated an oil and gas dispute in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division.  The case ultimately settled shortly before trial.

August 2012 – Scott Stevens, after completion of an injunction hearing, obtained a temporary injunction in District Court in Marshall, Texas regarding a dispute over coin operated laundry machines.  The case ultimately settled following the injunction hearing.

May 2012 – Scott Stevens litigated an insurance fraud and fraudulent transfer matter pending in the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division.  The case ultimately settled prior to trial.  The amount of the settlement is confidential.

April 2012 – David Henry obtained an order dismissing his client from a case involving trade secrets pending in federal court for the Eastern District of Missouri, Eastern Division.

October 2011 – Scott Stevens and co-counsel Lance Lubel tried an estate and probate dispute to a jury in San Jacinto County, Texas.  The parties negotiated a settlement during the second day of trial.

March 25, 2011 – Scott Stevens and co-counsel Clint Schumacher of Locke Lord obtained a judgment against one of the nation’s largest gas producers.

February 2011 – Scott Stevens negotiated a confidential settlement in an automobile dealership closure case against a major automobile finance company.

September, 9, 2010 – Scott Stevens won a case before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington D.C. in a matter against the Office of Personnel Management.  The opinion is a precedential opinion.

April 8, 2010 – Scott Stevens argued a case before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington D.C. in a matter against the Office of Personnel Management.

December 18, 2009 – Kyle Nelson, along with co-counsel Collin Maloney and Mandy Nelson of Tyler, Texas, obtained a substantial verdict in a personal injury matter before the Honorable Charles Everingham IV, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division.

January 5, 2009 – Scott Stevens selected a jury in a patent case in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division, in Civil Action No. 2-06-CV-504 (TJW-CE); Freedom Wireless, Inc. v. Alltel Corporation, et al. Stevens, co-counsel with Goodwin Proctor law firm in Boston, MA, represented the plaintiff in this matter. The case settled following jury selection.

December 1, 2008 – Scott Stevens selected a jury in chemical exposure case in the United States District Court for Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division, in Civil Action No. 5:07-cv-351 (TJW-CE); Robert B. Oakley and Irene Oakley v. Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., et al. Stevens, co-counsel with Albritton Law Firm, Love Law Firm, and Heard Robbins Law Firm in Houston, represented the plaintiffs in this matter. The case settled following jury selection.

August 28, 2007 – Scott Stevens obtained a defense verdict for a landowner who was sued by an oil company for allegedly interfering with its operations. The jury’s verdict was unanimous.

March 23, 2006 – Johnny Ward and Scott Stevens obtained a substantial verdict in a wrongful death action in Cass County, Texas. The jury’s verdict was unanimous.

October 20, 2005 – Scott Stevens obtained a directed verdict in Upshur County, Texas for a landowner sued in a premises liability matter.
